01 Overview

Overview

A co-op survival game for one to eight players on a dry, broken frontier. You start on foot with a pickaxe, a shovel and a hammer. You dig ore, strip scrap and raise a camp, then weld together the vehicles your convoy will live in.

01 / 04 From the ground up

Start on foot. Build the machine.

Nobody spawns with a car. You gather ore and scrap by hand, set up a crafting bench and a tent, and work toward your first vehicle. Then a better one. Pickups, buggies, cargo trucks, an armoured bus, a dozer, a 14-tonne excavator. Players build, upgrade and paint every one of them.

02 / 04 Camps

Safe ground is short.

Camps are the only safe ground, and only for twenty minutes before the radiation pushes you back out. Convoys regroup there, then head back out into the open.

03 / 04 Inside the cab

Real glass. Real cracks.

Every vehicle has a modelled interior and a driver you can see through the windscreen. The glass carries dust, streaks, water spots and the arc of the wipers, and it cracks where it is hit.

04 / 04 Weight is everything

Every kilo slows you down.

Armour, parts and cargo all add mass. So does water, the resource everything runs on, at a litre to the kilo. A light rig is fast. A loaded one is safe. Engines, suspension and load limits decide where your convoy lands between the two.

The fleet

Ten classes so far.
Every one built in-house.

Each vehicle comes out of our own Blender pipeline: body, moving parts, pivots, sockets and mass. It ships with three LODs and convex colliders. Skins are made entirely in-house.

More in the build

Details that carry weight.

A closer look at what is in the build right now.

  • A white armoured bus with plated windows on a salt flat

    01

    Armoured bus

Welded plates over the windows, rust running down from every bolt.

  • A drill truck with its lattice tower raised in a hazy plain

    02

    Drill truck

A lattice tower that folds down for the road and stands up to drill.

  • A cargo truck with its box doors open and crates inside

    03

    Cargo you can see

Open the box and the crates are really in there. Their mass counts.

  • A rusted tanker trailer on a salt flat

    04

    Trailers

Flatbed, cage, log and tanker. A tanker of water is a tonne of weight.

  • A green hatchback fitted with a saw blade, a drill ram and a roof gun

    05

    Kits that weigh something

Tier kits bolt onto sockets on the body. Each one has a mass, and the game counts it.

  • Close view of red sandstone blocks with broken edges

    06

    Rocks, take two

A new rock set built from scanned surfaces and broken blocks. It has to hold up at two metres.

Rocks, take two

We are testing a new rock set built from scanned surface materials and broken blocks. The goal is canyon walls that hold up at two metres, not only from the road.

On foot first

The on-foot loop runs in our test scenes: pickaxe, shovel and hammer, a portable workbench, a tent, and a shelter that is still standing after you save and reload. Tool animations are placeholders for now.

The excavator, rebuilt

Our first excavator looked like a toy. It now has real 14 tonne proportions, a welded boom, paired hydraulic cylinders and an operator cab. The full story is in the devlog.
